Protecting and healing Ghana's largest wetland

We are a local NGO dedicated to the protection and restoration of the Keta Ramsar Area, an internationally important wetland. We have protected hundreds of turtles and other animal species, conserved critical habitats, and have planted thousands of mangroves.

FOLLOW US

Mangrove restoration

As experts in the local environment and communities, we help organisations to plan, organise and undertake mangrove restoration projects.

Sea turtle conservation

Our area is a biodiversity hotspot for Atlantic sea turtles, we do patrols to prevent poaching and have created a protected nesting area and hatchery to boost turtle survival.

Eco-tourism

We fund many of our activities through sustainable eco-tourism in the wetland, including boat tours, kayaking, and visits to our turtle hatchery.

Research services

We provide services for academies, NGOs and companies seeking to carry out projects, initiatives, or fundemental research in the Ramsar area. We can undertake research and data collection or help organise and assist your own research trips to the area.
